language

teaching:the

social

attribution

intrinsic

attribution

of

language,which

is

what

systemic-functionallinguistsexeg

effortstodo.The

languageteachingneglectingthe

attributionismeaningless

or

valueless.imperfect

at

least.Language

istheunityofform

and

function.Thesocialattributioncouldbeembodiedwiththefunctionof

language.

So,ifweteach

language

asknowledgeonly,we

justpayattention

to

theformof

language,which

willleads

to

languageteachingasstatic

system.Actually,language

teachingmust

concern

bothforms

andfunctions,and

transfersthe

knowledge

of

forms

andfunctionsoflanguage

intotheabilityto

use

language.

Meanwhile,systemic—functionallinguisticsshowsthatpeoplebuild

and

keepsocial

relationshipbylanguage.So,theapplicationoflanguageCan

reflect,tosomeextent,the

culturalbackground,socialrolesofspeakersandlanguageenvironment.That

is

tosay,

thecomprehensionof

languagemeaning

willnotdo

without

language

users

and

contexts.Sothematerialsoflanguageteachingshouldmainlybeauthentic.

Language

systemisregardeddynamicandopening,SO,theinterpretationof

meaningmustbedynamicandbeincontext.ThatiswhyTBLTemphasizeslanguage

meaning.The

necessityofauthenticmaterialand

thecreationofmostnatural

language

acquisitionenvironmentrepresentsystemic-functionallinguistics’noticeofcontexts,

whichaimsto

get

leamers

to

experience

and

masterthe

dynamic

use

oflanguage.Learners

can

makeinteractive

communication,experiencethesocial

function

of

language,and

realizetheimportanceofbuilding

and

keepingthesocialrelationships

betweenpeoplein‘doingbytarget

language’which

isthemaincontent

ofTBLT.
