十、申请信

结构要点申请信是向收信人提出某个请求的信件，包含三个部分：

1． 提出请求；

2． 说明原因；

3． 请求回复并表示感谢。

举例：Write a letter in about 100 words to apply for a scholarship from a foreign university. Do not sign your own name at the end of your letter, using “Li Ming” instead.

Dear Sir,

I wish to apply for admission to your department as a graduate student. I am writing to ask whether it will be possible for you to grant me a full scholarship.
