Dear Dr Fang 亲爱的方教授

I read your magazine every month 我每个月都会读你的杂志

I myself am a teenager ,almost 16 我自己就是一个青少年，16岁

and have some problems at home that I hope you can help me with 当我在家的时候会遇到一些问题，我希望你能帮助我

The main problem is that I can’t get along with my father 主要的问题是我不知道怎么和我的父亲单独相处

Whenever I want to do something or suggest an idea 不管什么时候我想要做什么事或提出某个意见

Such as a restaurant we can go to for dinner, he doesn't listen to me 比如说我们去餐厅吃，他从不听我的想法。

Then, when I refuse to listen to him ,he shouts at me angrily 然后如果我拒绝听他的 他就生气的对我大吼大叫

He and my mother always make me do things I don't like， 他和我的妈妈总是要我做我不喜欢的事

such as playing the piano and doing housework 比如说弹钢琴与做家务

Then，when I have some spare time and want to be alone，they call me selfish and distant 然后当我有一些空闲时间想要一个人待着时．他们会说我自私，觉得跟我有距离感。

My father gets annoyed if I play foreign music 我的父亲会因为我听外国音乐而恼火不已

Also, every time I watch a DVD he sends me to bed or tells me to spend more time studying．

而且每当我看DVD时 他都会要我去睡觉或多花点时间学习

He even forbids me from chatting with my friends in the Internet cafe． 他禁止我去网吧与我的朋友网上聊天

I love him a lot．but I don't understand why he is so hard on me and will not respect things I want to do 我很爱他 但我不能理解为什么他对我这么严厉，也不让我做我想要做的事

He was once a teenager-he should understand me better than he does．他曾经也是青少年，他应该能很好的理解我，而不是像做的那样。
