UPS UPS evolved over time from a messenger service and common carrier into a leader in global supply chain management. Today, UPS owns 268 aircraft (and leases another 307) to provide express airfreight service to over 200 countries. In addition to its major hub at Worldport in Louisville, Kentucky, UPS operates major hubs in Cologne/Bonn(Germany), Taipei (Taiwan), Pampanga (The Philippines), Ontario (California),Hong Kong, Singapore, and Shanghai (China)—and is developing an intraAsia hub in Shenzhen (China).
