Meanwhile, young students can learn advanced science and technology from foreign countries and spread cultures of different nations.

On the other hand, it has disadvantages. For example, because of the lack of living experience and poor capability to take care of themselves, they may feel lonely and homesick. In addition, high living expenses and tuition fees will become a heavy burden upon their parents.

So I think whether studying abroad or not should be decided according to oneself and one's family. It is not right to follow others.

With the development of hi-tech, more and more people work at home. There are many advantages of home working. For example, by working at home, you can save time and money spent traveling to and from work. What’s more, you can arrange work around family duties, and avoid noise and distractions of the workplace. However, there are disadvantages from home working too. You may find you have trouble with separating home and work life, and sometimes you will be interrupted by domestic duties. Besides, working at home makes one feel isolated. As far as I am concerned, one should weigh carefully the advantages and disadvantages and find out which is more suitable for him or her before making a decision.

We students are the future builders of our country. We must make the most of our school days to receive moral education, to cultivate good behavior, to improve our health and to get rich knowledge, so that we may be of service to our society and our country one day. However, life time is short. We can obtain many things more then once, but we can't get back the lost time. As the old saying goes: \is long, but life is short.\period of time, we'll have no better days for study and are doomed to suffer from deep regret later.

There are various ways for city residents to go out—they can go out by using the public transportation system, for example, buses, taxies, the subway, etc. They can go out by riding bikes. They can drive if they have their own cars.

However, it is not worthwhile to drive to a place that is not too far away. Personally speaking, I prefer walking because I can get some exercise and have a good look of the world around me, as long as the destination is within walking distance.

When choosing the ways of going out, I think people should take the factor of protecting the environment into consideration and avoid using cars as far as possible.

The number of the college students is growing continually. So the situation of seciety is more competating .It is difficuty for them to find a job .

There are few reasons to explan this phenomonon.One reason ,nowadays,the college could not adapt to the need of the seciety .There are some old equipment that is out of date .So the

studens is not suitable for the seciety ,when they leave school .Secondly ,students do not concentrate their heart on，study .They spend most time on playing .The third one,the basis of our country is that the number of population is more than the work position .

It is no wander that it is not easy to find a job .So how do wo face the life ?In my opinion ,we should study hard and enlarge our sight to suit the seciety .

With the development of the world, English has become an international language. Therefore, learning English is very important. Firstly, English is the most widely used language in the world. If we make a visit to foreign countries or do business with foreigners, we need communicate with them in English. Secondly, with China becoming stronger and stronger, we have more chances to go abroad. We can know the English-speaking countries much deeper if we know English. Both China and English-speaking countries have realized the importance of the culture exchanging. Above all, English is useful and important, we must master English. However, there are many difficulties in my learning English, for example, grammar, listening, speaking and so on. But how can I solve these difficulties? The following is my way.

First of all, everyday I do half an hour’s morning reading to try to pronounce every word out. Secondly, I will then spend half an hour listening to English radios like BBC to correct my pronunciation. Finally, because I have trouble in English grammar, I attend a full-time English class of STVU to study grammar. The teacher recommends me to buy a grammar book—《Advanced English

Grammar》. It helps me with my English study a lot. These above are what I have done to overcome my difficulties.

Some people prefer living in the countryside because people there are usually friendly and air is fresh and clean. You can see trees and plants everywhere. But in the countryside, people have less chance to make money and they would have less entertainment.

To me, rural life has more advantages than urban life. In one word, rural life is better than city life, beneficial for people there to enjoy a peaceful and healthy lifestyle.

There are many different ways to get information. As far as I am concerned, I like to get information through reading newspapers. There are three reasons for this. As was said by Francis Bacon, reading makes a full man. Third, it provides me with a chance to clip down all the articles and useful things so as to be kept for later use.

In conclusion, different people prefer different ways to get what they want. However, it is necessary to keep in mind that no definite way is suitable for all circumstances. With the development of science and technology, we’d better make good use of the advanced media so as to.

Advantages and disadvantages of private cars with the fantastic spur both in industry and in economy in China, the number of people who own private cars is on the rise. But there have been two quite different views on this phenomenon.

Some claim that there are many advantages brought about by cars. First, the automobile industry provides jobs for countless workers and strong support for other industries. Second, if conditions permit, owning a car can make us work more efficiently. Finally, life will become more convenient. A

car allows one to move freely and with a car there is no need to wait for the bus in the cold or under the burning sun.

However, others strongly object to the increase in developing private cars. They hold that automobiles will give rise to a series of problems. In the first place, as more and more cars are produced and run in the street, a large volume of poisonous gas will be given off, polluting the atmosphere and causing actual harm to the health of people. Next, private cars contribute to traffic congestion so greatly that the advantages gained in comfort and freedoms are often cancelled out by the frustration caused by traffic jams. The last problem is the increasing number of car accidents that have killed and will kill a lot of people in a friction of a second.

In my opinion, although automobiles have been playing a vital part in the daily activities of our society, they also bring us numerous troubles such as more serious environmental pollution, more traffic accidents and more energy consumption. They drink up huge amounts of fuel and throw out huge amounts of pollutants. Traffic accidents kill thousands and thousands of people each year and cripple more. Jams waste our precious time. Therefore I am against developing private cars.

Nowadays, in an ever tighter job market, great importance has been attached to an interview by both the employer and the applicant. Thirdly, the interviewee must demonstrate his aptitude and skills for the job and his knowledge about the job-related areas. Be confident. Last but not the least, the interviewee ought to be honest about his or her personal as well as academic background, for honesty is the best policy.

To sum up, the job interview is indeed important, but there is no need to be nervous. As long as the interviewee has the ability for the job, with careful preparation and a fairly confident and honest performance, his or her success can be ensured.

I am now a college student. I not only stay on top in studies in my class, but also have a strong constitution. Perhaps no one believes that as a child I was meagre and weak, not able to speak and walk until three years old. The reason might be that my family was very poor when my mother was

pregnant with me. There was not enough to eat, to say nothing of nourishing food.

Mother never gae up hope and tried all means to feed me up. She worked very hard. She raised pigs and chickens, and planted vegetables. She learned how to make edible oil from peanuts, vinegar from millet, beancurd from soybeans. She did all this by herself, for my father was working for a geological prospecting party, always away from home. Mother took perfect and minute care of me. Once I had a high fever, she carried me on her back and walked three hours at night to see a doctor. Little by little, I grew stronger, then I went to school. Mother often encouraged me to take exercise in order to keep fit.

Now I am a sturdy young man, while mother, only a little more than forty, is a grey-haired woman with a wrinkled face, looking much older than she actually is. I fell I owe everything to my mother and she is the one I should be most grateful to.

In my middle school I had many good teachers, but Mr. Zhang was the one I partic ularly liked and respected. He was a middle-aged intellectual who lived a simple and hard working life but was always optimistic and spared no effort in teaching us.

He was a scholar of Chinese literature and history. We felt that he knew everything in this field. His knowledge and eloquence, as well as his klndness, made his lectures so attrative and touching that we were reluctant to hear the bell ringing to dismiss the class.

One lesson he gave us that I cannot forget concerned some quotations from a pupil of Confucius, who always felt at ease in spite of his life of abject poverty. In his lecture, Mr. Zhang revealed his true feelings in devoting himself to teaching all his life. This deeply moved us all. I respect Mr. Zhang and should learn from his noble spirit and do my best to study hard for our great socialist country.

In my opinion strong wills, perseverance and diligence are the three essentials of success. A man of strong will and perseverance always has an inflexible spirit. He sticks to his cause no matter how tough it might be. Life is short and we have too much to do. Without diligence no one can achieve anything.

I believe that where there is a will there is a way, and that success belongs to those who can make constant efforts. People should develop the virtue possibly. Don't be afraid of life. Believe that life is worth living，and your belief will help create the fact.
