COMPARATIVE STUDY OF COSTUME
DESIGNER COMPENSATION INCENTIVE SCHEME
ABSTRACT
With the enhancement of comprehensive national strength, China's garment industry has become an important industry in the national economy. Enterprise has been faced with the transformation and upgrading in the process of internationalization. In this paper, through literature review method, questionnaire survey and other research methods, the analysis, comparison and study on the current designers’ incentive scheme institutional in clothing enterprises have been carried out. It expounds the research history of pay incentive at home and abroad, the incentive compensation theory at home and abroad which includes the trend of historical development and formation of salary incentive theory. Based on the compensation concept, dominant and recessive salary incentive scheme of designer were investigated in this study. This paper focuses on the introduction ot the comprehensive performance evaluation system of fashion designers providing different types of clothing enterprises with some guidelines to make a reasonable compensation incentive scheme. The research results in this paper have a positive significance for the realization of the enterprise strategic objectives and the improvement of competitive power.
