3.Difficulty and emphasis

A. In this part , the new words ―stop、wait、go‖ are still the difficulty, the teacher must design many game to Talk about the map they designed, use the knowledge they learned.

A: How can I get to …? B: You can go by …on foot. A: Can I go on foot?

a. Listen to the tape and know the traffic rules in different country. Try to find the differences and do the exercises on page 9. Read it by themselves and underline the sentences they think it‘s important.

b. Story time: (a) The teacher divides the whole class into several groups. Ask them read the story in different roles. Then choose one or two groups read in the class. (b) Act the story: give the students three minutes to prepare the story then act it out.

Ask the student to describe one of their teacher, the others guess.

Read the word in ―pronunciation‖ on page 11.

16 Listen to the tape of ―Let‘s check‖ .Let the students finish the work on the book and check it. 5.Homework

Review the whole unit and master the key pionts.

a. The pronunciation of the words: cinema the ―powerpoint‖ and show them the whole map of JiNan. Ask them to point cut what they in the map.

b. Let one student choose what the teacher asks: Is there a post office near the other words: cinema bookstore and science museum in the same way.

c. T: Where is the library? Ss: It‘s near the post office.

Ask them to practice this drill in pairs. Choose several groups to come to the front to act it out.

d. Open the book and turn to page 6. Ask them to

Choose 6 students to act as the 6 places. The teacher orders: The… is near the… They to the tape after class. Remember all the new words in this lesson. 4. Teaching notes.

Let the Ss master all the new words and the whole dialogue in this lesson.

They can finish ―Let‘s try‖ well. 2. Teaching aids CAI tape cards

Master and use the sentence style: Does she teach English? No, she doesn‘t. Yes, she does. 4. Teaching steps 1) Greeting: Say ― page 44.

a. Ask them to introduce their desk mates. A: X likes … X: Yes, I like… No, I like… b. Show the word cards, then talk with them. c. T: Does your uncle live in…? Does the eveningmorning? Does picture. T: Look! Chen Jie is looking at some picture. Her mother is beside pal.(He is from Canada. He lives in the city. He likes making planes. He likes swimming.)

d. Show them the whole dialogue and ask them to read after the tape. Give them 3 mins to practice in groups. Then choose3 groups to act it. They can make up a new one to practice base on the drill on page 46.

5 Homework

Ask all the students to recite the whole dialogue after class.
