Hint: The following task is based on outcome1, 2 and 4; you need to accomplish your report accordingly and try to meet the criteria by comparing and contrasting two or more domestic companies or groups when necessary.

Task

Find out two domestic companies before finishing the following tasks, comparing and contrasting accordingly:

1. Identify the two companies’ structure and culture and analyse the relationship between their structures and culture Compare and contrast their different organizational structures and culture; (1.a &1.b)

2. Analyse how organisational theory underpins principles and practices of their organising and of management. (2.a)

3. Compare the different approaches to management and theories of organisation used by the two organizations. (2.b)

4. Describe the nature of groups and group behavior within the two organisations and evaluate the impact of technology employed on its team functioning (4.a &4.c)

Pass To achieve a PASS, student must show a basic understanding of the tasks set. Merit To achieve a MERIT, student must prepare a properly structured report showing a good depth of knowledge and understanding of the tasks set with all the evidences involved (M1, M2, and M3).
