ABSTRACT:WithpetroleumcokeasfeedandKOHasacti vatingagent,thearticlediscussestheinfluenceofadsorbentprepar ingconditionsonadsorbentproperty.Theresultshowsthecontentofcarbon,ash,volatilematterandsulfurinthepetroleumcokeisrel ativetotheadsorbentproperty.Thepetroleumcokeswithlowash,lowvolatilematter,lowsulfurandhighcarbonfavortopreparetheidealgasadsorbent.Feedparticlesizewasamainfactortocontrolthehomogeneityandactivatingreactionlevelofthemixedmaterial.Undertheconditionsofthegivencompositionandparticlesizeofthefeed,theactivatingtemperatureandtimeandusingvolumeoftheactivatingagenthasaoptimumvalue.ActivationwithKOHonlyhasthedisadvantages,suchaspoormixingeffectunderhightempera ture,residualpotassiuminactivatedproducts,bigusingvolumeofactivatingagentandseverecorrosionetc.Toovercomethedisadvan tages,thekeyistoimprovethemixinghomogeneityofthefeedma http://www.77cn.com.cningHJ KOHcom plexactivationcanresolvetheproblemofactivationwithKOHonly. ABSTRACT:Potassiumhydroxide(KOH)isaexcellentacti vatingagentformakinggasadsorbent.ButKOHusingvolumeisbig,andthereissomemetalpotassiumresidueintheactivatedsam ple.Thearticlecomparestheinfluenceofsomeassistantactivatingagents,suchasZnCl2,FeCl3andHJwiththatofKOHonMethanestoringperformance.Theresultsindicatesthattheassistantactivat ingagentsofZnCl2andFeCl3havepooreffectcouplingwithKOH,whichcan timprovethemethanestoringperformanceofactivatingpetroleumcoke.ButassistantagentFeCl3couplingwithKOHcandecrease,eveneliminatethemetalpotassiumproducedbyactivationreaction.AssistantHJcouplingwithKOHcandecreaseKOHusingvolume,improvetheactivatingeffectofKOHandcontroltheresidu almetalpotassiumeffectively.WhenWKOH WCis3 1~4 1,HJ KOHcomplexcanbecomeexcellentmethaneadsorbent.Thepow deryadsorbentswithWKOH WCof4 1canobtain17.7gofmethaneadsorptionunder3.5MPaand25 .Itseffectivevolumeadsorptionis92.6(volumeratio).Anditseffectivevolumeadsorptioncanreachto111.5(volumeratio)under5.0MPa.
