ABSTRACT:AccordingtotherequirementsofISO5167is suedinMarch,2003, V shapedinnerconicalflowmeterwillre placetheflowmetersoforificeplates,nozzlesandVenturitubes,etc.WhicharewidelyusedinChinanow.Thearticleintroducesthenewgenerationofdifferentialpressureflowmeter V shapedinnerconicalflowmeter(VNZ),includingitsworkingprinciple,construction,compositionofmeasuringsystem,mainspecificationsandtechnicalfeatures.Also,thearticleanalyzestheadvantagesanddisadvantagesoftheflowmeter.Theresultsindicatesthattheflowmeterhasstrongabilitytoresistpollution,worksstable,canmea surethewetgasflow,thecokeovengasflow,andtheflowwithlowstaticpressureandlowflowrate.So,itcanbeusedforflowmea suringofnaturalgas,coalgas,heatingsteamgasandwastewater,etc.Also,thearticlereportsthetypicalapplicationsandthelatestprogressoftheflowmeter.
