Nelson Mandela was born in a rich family on July 18th, 1918. When he was young, Mandela was very hard-working and attended the Fort Hare University and the University of Witwatersrand where he studied law.

During his life, Mandela worked hard for the right of Black people in his country. Mandela was put in prison（监狱）in 1962 and spent 27 years there.
