知识要点：

公共文稿广泛应用于商业企业的经营活动各个过程之中，也是做商务英语翻译最频繁接触到的涉外材料类型。

广义的公共文稿是指在公关活动中通过可能涉及的传播手段所发布的各类文稿，包括公关广告、供销广告、请柬、贺卡、名片、书信、电报、传真、聘书、题赠、对联、演讲稿、公关案例及分析、新闻消息与通讯、计划书、总结、会议记录和纪要、备忘录、各种商务报告及各种合同、意向书等公文文体。

按照用途可以分为--------内部文稿和外部文稿。

内部文稿: 指的是企业或组织内部交流常用的各种文函（Internal Communication），如：备忘录(Memorandums)、议事日程(Agenda)、会议记录(Minutes)、面谈记录(Notes on Face-to-Face Conversations)、电子跟踪确认书(Telephone Follow-up Letters).
