Abstract:Thedegenerationof2strain(BS-3andPRS5)invariousmediaandsubculturingwasstudiedwiththedecreaseofantagonismandbiomassofBacillussubtilisasthedegenerationπstoken,andtheneffectsof5carriersandrejuvenescerttimeontherestorationofthebiomassandantagonismforB.subtiliswerealsoexplored.Ofthesevenregularmedia,B.subtilismoststablygrewonSDAY,butthosenutritionpooronessuchasPDA,WPD,CMAcauseddegenerationfrequently,thedegenerationπsrateofBS-3wasslowerthanthatofPRS5.Among5rejuvenescentcarriers,thecarrierwhichcontainedsteriledsoil,1%peptone,1%glucoseand0.5%yeastabstractwasregardedasthebestone.Inrejuvenescentrate,PRS5was90daysand120daysfasterthanBS-3respectively.
