语法 --- 同位语从句导学案

教学目标:

1. 理解同位语从句的语法意义。 2. 能够从阅读文章中找出含有同位语从句的句子。 3. 归纳出同位语从句的语法特点。 4. 区分同位语从句和定语从句。 5. 在口语和书面表达中运用同位语从句

名词性从句的定义

名词性从句相当于名词,可分别作主句的主语、表语、宾语和同位语。因此,名词性从句可分为主语从句、表语从句 、宾语从句和同位语从句。

语序:在名词性从句中,一律使用陈述句语序。 如:I wonder who she is. 请判断下列各句各属于什么名词性从句。

1. What it was to become was a mystery. ( )

2. I don‘t know who will help Henry to win the bet. ( ) 3. His trouble is that he doesn‘t know anybody in London. ( ) 4. The fact that ships can go there surprises many people. ( )

同位语从句

1. 功能:

同位语从句对名词进一步解释,说明名词的具体内容。引导同位语从句的that在从句中不充当任何成分,无任何具体意思,一般不省略。 2. 用法:

常跟的抽象名词有: fact/idea/reason/thought/order/doubt/news/hope/truth/belief … 3. 连词: that/whether/who/which/what/when/where/why/how …

注意: 除 that外, 其余连词在从句中都具有各自的意义和成分。

● 连接词that引导的同位语从句: that在从句中不充当成分, 只起连接作用。 如:他告诉我一个消息, 他马上要从国外回国.

_______________________________________________________ ● 连接词whether引导的同位语从句: 只用whether引导, 不用if。

如:这个问题是否正确还未被证实. The problem __________ is right hasn‘t been proved. ● 连接词代词what/which/who引导的同位语从句: 在从句中充当成分。 1. 谁会出国这个问题还未决定.

● 连接词副词when/where/why/how引导的同位语从句 1. I‘ve got a good idea ___________ they left early.

2. The question __________ we should go has not been decided. 小试身手:

1. They were delighted at the news __________________________ (他们队赢了). 2. _______________________________ (他成功的事实) proves his ability. 3. I have no idea _________________________________ (他们何时回来).

4. We‘ll discuss the problem ___________________________________________________ (运动会是否按时举行).

5. __________________________ (他们比赛获胜的消息) soon spread over the whole school.

同位语从句与定语从句的区别:

比较 ①We expressed the hope (that) they had expressed. ( )

②We expressed the hope that they would come to visit China again. ( )

1. 从语法角度上看: 引导同位语从句的that是连词,只起连接的作用,在从句中并不作任何句子成分, 但是that不可以省略. 而引导定语从句that的是关系代词,除了起连接作用外,还在从句中作句子成分, 有时可以省略. 2. 从性质上区别

定语从句是从句对其先行词的修饰或限制, 而同位语从句是从句对前面抽象名词的进一步的说明和解释. 如: The news that our team has won the game was true. (同位语从句, 补充说明news到底是一个什么消息)

The news that he told me yesterday was true. (定语从句, news在从句中作told的宾语) 3. 从引导词及其在句子中的成分上区别

有些引导词如how, whether, what 可以引导同位语从句, 但不能引导定语从句。 同位语从句的简易判断方法:

我们可以在名词和从句之间加be, 使之构成一个新句子, 如果合乎逻辑, 句子通顺, 则是同位语从句,定语从句是不能用系表结构把先行词与从句连接起来的。 练习:填入适当的连接词,并判断是定语从句还是同位语从句:

1) The fact _________ he used to be a thief is known to all. ( )

2) We were surprised by the fact _____________________ she told us. ( ) 3) The next thing ________________ must be done is to make a plan. ( ) 4) We've just heard a warning on the radio ______________ a hurricane is likely to come. ( )

虚拟语气在同位语从句中的用法

demand, suggestion, proposal, request等同位语从句的谓语动词要用虚拟语气, 即: ( should ) + 动词原形

如:The suggestion that the plan ( should ) be delayed will be discussed tomorrow.

推迟那项计划的建议将在明天讨论。
