一、教学内容:
6B Unit 7A letter to a penfriend 第一教时(Listen, read and say)
二、教学目标:
1、知识目标:
1)、能听懂、会说、会读read(过去式),yesterday, writing paper, envelope, both, address。
2)、能听懂、会说、会读和会写letter, penfriend, Can I have ? What for? I want to
3)、能弄懂课文大意,理解课文结构,并能根据关键词复述篇章大意
2、能力目标:
1)、通过整体性阅读教学,培养学生的阅读能力;
2)、通过设计各种任务型活动,培养学生听说读写的能力。
3、情感目标:
1)、鼓励学生大胆用英文与国外友人沟通;
2)、培养学生重视友谊,喜欢交朋友的品质。
三、教学重、难点:

2、能理解、掌握课文内容,并根据关键词复述课文大意。
四、教学策略:
1、“任务性教学”:通过操练,使学生积极参与教学活动,培养学生的语言运用能力;
2、“阅读教学”:通过阅读策略指导,让学生初步感知本课的核心语料。
Teaching procedures:
Step1 Warm up and free talk
1. T talks with the students.
Hello, everyone. How are you? Nice to meet you! Let’s have a talk show first. Here’s a word “today”, can you say something about today? (S1: It is today. T: So the weekend is coming.S2: It is the of S3: It is warm and sunny today. T: How do you feel? S1: Today there are many teachers in our classroom. T: So we have to say something. S2: T: Don’t be nervous. Take it easy, please.
(教师给出关键词,让学生就这一关键词遣词造句,激发学生的英语思维,改变以前老师问学生答的热身模式。)
2. T: I’m going to have an English Lesson. Will you join me? T shows a picture of two people:
Miss Zhang and her American friend.
T: Who is she? T: She is my friend. I met her three years ago in Canada. Do you want to know something about her?
Ss: Yes.
T: You can ask: T shows the card
(S: What’s her name? (Lyla) What’s her job? (a student) Where does she live? (She lives in Toronto.) How old is she? (Guess: 12years old) How many people are there in her family? (four) What’s her hobby? (She likes reading books and taking photos) T: I like reading books, too. So we have the same hobby. Do you like reading books? Ss: Yes, I do. T: We both have the same hobby. Teach have the same hobby what’s her favorite season? (Spring) What’s her favorite food? (Salad and Chinese food)
3. T shows a card of her Canadian friend. Now please talk to your partners about your friends. 4. T: We talked about friends just now. Would you like to be my friend? T: How do you contact with your friends?
S1: chat on the QQ. T: You are QQ friends S2: Write e-mails. S3: Write postcards. T: That’s
a good idea.S4: make telephone calls. T: That’s a little expensive. T: How about writing letters? (T shows a letter) Friends can write letters to each other.
So they are pen friends. (Teach letter, penfriend) 5. T: When we write a letter, what do we need?
( some writing paper, an envelope, some glue, some stamps) 师演示写信的过程,一一教授新单词。师领读。
T: When we write a letter, we want some writing paper, an envelope, and some stamps.
Step2: Presentation
1. Listen and answer.
a. T: Look! Here comes Liu Tao. He also needs something. T: Please listen and answer: What does he want? Ss: He wants Listen again: What is he going to do?
b. T: Read after it. (读时同时出现句子)
Pay attention to the sentences: Can I have , please? What for? I want to (简单操练)
2. Read and answer: a. T: Who is he going to write to? (出现课文,让同学们自己读)
T:Why? Ss: He wants to be his pen friend. T: How did he meet Peter?
( 出现课文引言部分) Ss try to read the passage by themselves.
(Teach: yesterday和 read 的过去式)
b. Listen and repeat.
3. T: Liu Tao wants to write a letter to Peter.
T: Suppose you are Liu Tao’s mother,
Do you have any questions about him?
(T asks Ss to write the questions on the blackboard)
(Q1: Who’s he? Q2: Where does he live? Q3: What does he like?
Q4: Does he have any brothers or sisters? Q5: Does he study English?Q6: Does he play computer
games after school?
Q7: How old is he?
T: Let’s read the questions together.
T: Please listen to the tape and try to answer the questions. (听两遍)
T: Can you answer them now? Try to fill in the blanks.
T asks Ss to say something about Peter.
4. This is Peter. He wants to be penfriends with Liu Tao. Suppose you are Liu Tao, what are you going to write back? What is Liu Tao going to tell him?
T:Read the dialogue and try to write down the information.
5. Open your books.
a. Practice in pairs.
b. Read the dialogue. T is to be mother and Ss are to be Liu Tao.
c. T plays the tape.
Ss listen and read themselves.
Step3: Consolidation
1. Try to retell the text.
Liu Tao wants Peter Liu Tao is going to tell Peter
