ery man has his besetting sin and our sins and our debts are often more than we think. It is normal to accept something as a repayment for what you have done for them.  4.5social orientation  In some culture,there existed a tringent system of social hierarchy. People comply with the authority. In some other culture, collectivism has been their consistent sand. Besides, there are some culture values the spirit of independent.  China is a cocialist sociaty. Collectivism is the fundamental spirit of socialistic and  communisitic morality. Collectivism is a thought taking common benefits of masses as one’s own benefits. Equality ,unity, mutual help and common prosperity are the basic principles of the chinese government in handing the relations between ethic groups. During the first days of the fundation of People’s Republic of China, these principles were well displayed. But ,they were mistaken on some degree later. Now ,we can also see these principles in our daily life. There are many examples about people who chose to sacrifise themselves to protectcommon property. Since old times,the chinese have been taught to emulate their ancient role modles who would gladly be the first to bear hardships before everybody else and the last to enjoy comfort. It's an important quality of chinese people. As for westerners, they hold individulism in great esteem. Westerners are deeply affected by the Renaissance. The humanism is the core of the Renaissance. They advocate people’s autonomy to the sociaty. Children in western countries learn to be independent when they are still very young. There are some idioms which can reflect this chracter.”don’t put your finger in the pie”,”don't expect strangers to do for you what you can do for yourself”. These idioms tell that everyone is independent from others,you can not rely on others. As an result of the individulism, westerners are lay stress on their privacy. They’d not like other people to ask their age , income, religious belief and so on. In china, it is normal for people to ask questions like “How old are you?””What do you do?””where do you live?” in their communication. While in western, it is not polite to ask these questions when you communicate with oters.  5.Conclusion  Langguage is influnced and shaped by culture. It reflects culture. It is the symbolic represention of a people,and it comprises their historical and culture backgrounds as well as their values. As a result,misunderstanding may 
arise, although you can communicate with foreigners fluently and naturely. As the st
