On returning home at two a.m., the writer rang the doorbell, but he failed to wake up his wife. After having put a ladder towards the wall, he climbed towards the bedroom window when a policeman called out. Answering rudely, he told the policeman that he lost his key. The shouting woke up his wife who opened the window at the moment when the policeman had started climbing the ladder after him. Lesson93 (一)
