Teaching aims:
1. To understand conversations about future school.

Get the students to read through the sentences while listening to the tape.
Listen to it again; choose the true sentences for Daming, Betty and Tony. Listen to the tape for the third time, check the answers. Answers:

Finish off the exercises in Activity 8. Answers:
1 Every family will have a plane so it will be cheap to travel everywhere. 2 The weather will get hot so the sea level will rise as well.
3 Machines and robots will do the heavy and difficult jobs so we’ll only do light and
easy work.
Step 11. Homework
1. Finish off the Workbook exercise. 2. Copy the new words in this unit.

1. To remember the new words and their use. 2. To summarize and consolidate “will”. 3. To describe a dream of the bright future. Teaching points: Difficult point:

Check the homework.
Talk about what the life will be in the future. Step 2. Practice
Say, this class we will learn Unit 3. What will you do then?
Get the students to say more sentences using “will do”.
Ask questions about the sentences; get the students to say Yes or No to answer
them.
Practice in pairs; choose one or two pairs to check. Step 3. Writing
Complete the sentences in Activity 1.
