一、不规则名词复数：

man→ men，woman→ women，tooth→ teeth，foot→ feet，child→ children，mouse→ mice

one---first ; two---second; three---third; five---fifth; eight---eighth; nine---ninth;

twelve---twelfth; twenty---twentieth; twenty-one---twenty-first 三、代词的变化： 主格 I you he she it we you they 宾格 me you him her it us you them 物主代词(adj.) my your his her its our your their 物主代词（n.） mine yours his hers its ours yours theirs 反身代词 myself yourself himself herself itself ourselves yourselves themselves 四、ly 结尾却通常用作形容词：

friendly eg：He spoke in a friendly way. 他说话的态度很亲切 lovely eg：What lovely flowers those are! 那些花多么好看啊!

likely eg： She is the most likely girl to win the prize. 她是最有希望得奖的女孩 lonely eg：She felt lonely. 她感到孤独。

lively eg：Young children are usually lively.小孩子们往往是活泼的。
