American English and British English are very different. Sometimes this difference is so big that the two seem like different languages!
Some words in British English mean things that are different in American English. For example a ―raincoat‖ (American English) is called a ―Mackintosh‖ in British English. But in America, a mackintosh is a kind of computer.
