Shall we send children to study abroad?

In the past few years, more and more people have become richer and richer, so it is popular for many families to send their children to study abroad. However, is it a good choice or not?

I don’t think it is a good idea. First of all, children are too young to look after themselves. Children who have to depend on their parents can hardly enjoy the life abroad. On the other hand, the language problem is a serious one. This will get in the way

of

communicating

with

foreigners. Many children have trouble with this. As a result, they have difficulty in understanding what the native speakers are talking about. Finally, they may get into trouble when dealing with different situations because they don’t know the knowledge of the culture in a strange country. What’s more, the cost of living is much higher than that in our country. And their family can’t afford this.

In conclusion, there will be more disadvantages than advantages if we send children to study abroad. So,

in my opinion, it’s not suitable to do this.
