Abstract：Basedonthetheoryofecologicalcivilizationandcoordinateddevelopmentdegree，ingAHPtheoryandprincipalcomponentanalysis，thisecologicalcivilizationevaluationsystemconsistsof12elementsand64indexes，representingthelevelsofenvironment，economyandsociety.Accordingtothisecologicalcivilizationevaluationsystem，weusedcountryandprovincialscaledatatoquantitativelyanalyzespatialandtemporalvariationinecologicalcivilizationandcoordinateddevelopmentdegreeatthesetwospatialscales.Theevaluatedresultsindicatethatthisecologicalcivilizationevaluationsystemisscientificandpracticalandhastransverseandlongitudinalcomparability.Atacountryscale，from1990-2012thelevelofecologicalcivilizationconstructionconstantlyimproved，andtheabilityofcoordinateddevelopmentbetweenenvironment，economyandsocietywasstrengthened.Theresultsshowthateachfive-yearplanstagehassignificantdifferencesinvariationtrendandcharacteristicsatthecountryscale.Attheprovincescale，thespatialevaluationresultsindicatethattheecologicalcivilizationconstructionlevelandcoordinateddevelopmentdegreeshowsignificantregionaldifferences.ThecoordinateddevelopmentdegreeoftheeasternregionishigherthancentralandwesternregionsinChina，buttheecologicalcivilizationindexisnotfullyconsistentwiththisspacedistributioncharacteristic.Basedonevaluationresultsattheprovincescale，the31provincesaredividedintofivedifferenttypesofdevelopmentandweputforwardwell-targetedsuggestionsofcoordinateddevelopmentfordifferentregionsinaccordancewiththetypedivisionmethod.
