You have decided on an ENGEL product which is produced and supplied under the most strictquality controls.

The instruction manual must be considered as part of the robot and is destined for thosepersons who are charged with activities on the plant. The instruction must be kept during thelife of the product and must be passed on to each following owner or user. Each obtainedaddition must be integrated into the instruction manual.

The instruction manual for the robot is divided into 3 manuals:

’’Service manual’’ (Start-up, maintenance, additional equipment, spare parts)

’’Operator manual’’ (Operation)

’’Technical manual’’ (only in German and English)

The instruction manual is available in the following forms:

in paper form. An electric schematic is in the control cabinet.

ENGEL reserves the right to update the documentation.WARNING!

Do not use the robot without corresponding training.

Improper use of the plant can lead to considerable personal damage anddamage to property.

Before you put the plant into operation, you must read through theSafety chapter to become familiar with the safety equipment.

We recommend your participation in training at one of Engel’s training centers.

The priority aim of this manual is to convey the start-up and maintenance of the robot. Furtherinformation for possibly used additional equipment can be found in the chapter Specialprogram description.
