短语、固定搭配和句型串成篇(unit5) Tom was out of work for two years. As a matter of fact , how was put into prison for going against the law. Before he got punished ,he was an official, at that time ,he was willing to help people who were in trouble. Besides ,he was active in fighting against treating black people as slaves. What’s more, he set up a club that turned to making black and white people equal. At the time when he came to power, he had a discussion with the government, but both sides felt bad the first time they talked and then the government tried to kill him time and time again .Only then did Tom lose heart to the government, and he decided to answer violence with violence .he did an astonishing thing to have blown up the White House. Black people were proud of him ,but the government said that he had broken the law and he would be sentenced to 100years in prison.
