Stream of consciousness writing is a variant of the third person point of view, in which the narrator relates only what is experienced by

the character’s mind from moment to moment. It presents thoughts and feelings of a character as they occur. It shows a mind at work. It may contain parts that do not seem coherent because they are based on the free association of ideas and feelings of the individual’s mind.
