Abstract The level of research and application of food additives is one of the hallmarks of a country and the level of food science and technology for economic development. No food additives no modern food. Legitimate and reasonable use of food additives is to maintain food security needs. So far, China's emerging food safety incidents have significant harm, because no one is legal and proper use of food additives cause. However, the current food additives has become a scapegoat for many food safety incidents. Introduction The food industry is a pillar industry of
