      In fact, it’s not easy for students to become Number One Scholars. Most of them succeed not because of the products, but their proper way of learning and hard work. Every student has his own way of studying, so the Number One Scholars’ experience may not be suitable for all the students. Most important of all, not all of these products are good enough to help us study.

     My mother is a village woman， who is already in her fifties. She had very little school education， but she knows that knowledge is of great importance to young people. She often asks me how I get along with my studies and encourages me to study hard.
My mother takes good care of me and does everything she can for me， so that I can spend more time on my study.
Once she was badly ill and had stayed in bed for several days. When I got home to see her at night， I found the light was still on and mother was sitting in bed， making new clothes for me ！ I was so deeply moved that tears came to my eyes.
Such is my mother， a kind and hard-working woman. I’ll respect and love her forever.hould share some housework with them when possible.

My summer vacation of this year was very enjoyable. I went to the countryside to spend my summer holidays. It is very beautiful there. There are green plants, clear rivers, lovely animals and kind people. I spent two weeks helping my grandfather do some farm work there. I wrote down what happened in my diary every day.
Besides that, I helped the children in the neighborhood with their lessons. I helped them read English and improve their spoken English. Their parents thanked me for this.

      I went to the countryside to spend my summer holidays this year. I liked green plants, clear rivers and lovely animals there. I breathed the fresh air on the mountain and sometimes I went swimming in the river. I kept a diary every day.
     I liked not only the scene of the countryside, but also the people there. I helped them to do farm work. I also helped the children in the neighborhood with their lessons. The children were interested in English. They were good at reading and writing, but did not do well in listening and speaking. I helped them improve their listening and speaking. Their parents thought highly of me. I realized that knowledge is greatly needed in the countryside.

In recent years, people can find many students celebrate their birthdays on a large scale. Whenever one student’s birthday comes, he or she will tell his or her classmates and friends about it. Then they will have to buy birthday presents and even have a birthday dinner together in a restaurant.
      However, I don’t think it is a proper way to celebrate birthdays because it may bring some disadvantages. First, some students spend a lot of money on presents, which they believe can show true friendship. Buying presents makes many students, especially those from poor families more worried. Second, students usually spend too much time in celebrating, so they can’t concentrate themselves on their studies. Besides, it is easy for students to get into some bad habits such as smoking or drinking.
     In my opinion, students should work hard at their studies. They can celebrate birthdays in some other ways. For example, they can make paper or e-mail birthday cards by themselves and send them to the students who are going to celebrate their birthdays.In a word, a proper celebration of students' birthday is necessary.

     Senior school students have different opinions about Senior 1 students’ military training at school. According to the survey, a majority of them are in favor of it. They think the training makes their bodies and minds stronger. At the same time, they learn to help each other and overcome difficulties together, which helps them form better relationships. Most important of all, they learn to be more punctual, which will be of great help in the future.
     On the other hand, some students think that the military training is hard and boring. It’s a waste of time and of no practical use to their studies.
    In my opinion, as a middle school student, we should take part in these activities because they can help us in the future.

     Our military training will last 11 days from Aug. 15th to Aug. 25th. It will take place in the school playground. The training time is from 7:30 to 11:30 in the morning and 2:30 to 5:30 in the afternoon. Everyone must attend the military training on time. Nobody is allowed to be absent from the training or be late for it. Ask the drillmaster for leave if necessary. Furthermore, we must be in military uniforms, wear strong sports shoes and bring our own cups. Finally, I have to stress that everyone should work hard during the training so that we will perform perfectly in the final test!

The pirated software means a great loss to the developers of the original software as the former erodes market shares of their original counterpart. Similarly, when the pirated movies attract more viewers, movie companies find their audience decreasing and accordingly their income down.
     The other side of the coin is that the pirated software and movies promise their consumers a number of benefits. For one thing, they are much cheaper than the original. For another allow their customers cheaper access to more tools and entertainment. They are poplar because they seem to cater better for the interest of their customers.
     Despite these seeming benefits, the pirated software and movies should be banned, because by nature they represent unfair competition in our economic life. encouraged or left out of control, they would upset normal competition and eventually lead to the breakdown of economic order. Software developers would cease to offer products of quality and movie companies would refuse to produce good movies. If all this happened, ultimately customers would have to suffer. Therefore, we’d better stop the pirated software and movies.

Different people have different lifestyles. They do the same things from morning to evening every day. Usually, they write their plans on paper. But sometimes they remember what things they will do in their minds. I also have my own lifestyle. It is wonderful! I get up early on weekdays, and do the school things then. But at the weekend, I never get up early. I sometimes stay in bed until lunchtime. One day, I stayed in bed very late. It was a weekday. The clock rang. It was six thirty. But I didn’t hear it. I stayed in bed until seven o’clock. I looked at the clock and jumped from the bed to the floor. I was afraid, “Oh, my God, I will be late.” I shouted. So I didn’t have breakfast. I put on my shoes and took a taxi to the school. I was in good luck that day. I wasn’t late for school. I was pleased that time. I think I should get up earlier on weekdays or I will be late.
